Really knowledgeable and friendly staff! Definitely recommend this place if you're in the area. Super close to Ketstone too!
Friendly and welcoming. Nice ppl willing to take the time to educate me in the various methods and varieties.
Buyer Beware! First of all, they have a very limited supply and they don't let you pick your own buds, it is pre-packaged. If you are a non resident, expect to be taxed twice. The tax they have to charge to everyone is included in the price then, if you are not a CO resident, they will charge you an additional 23%. On top of that, they only accept debit cards - but they don't tell you that you are charged a service fee by both them and your bank. They say that they can't use credit cards because then the Federal Government will be involved. If that were the case, then why do other dispensaries accept credit cards? Sounds like a line of shit to me. Don't get screwed like I did, go to a different place!
Great location, walking distance from our lodge and Tyler was very knowledgeable with helping me find a selection. Assortment of products was abundant. Definitely coming back through out the duration of my stay.
This was our first stop when we got to Silverthorne. A super sweet girl helped us the first visit. She was super knowledgeable and helpful. Native Roots earned our customer loyalty so we stopped back to re-purchase. Ernie helped us at this visit. He was also super helpful and had a great welcoming smile. This is an awesome place where you feel like your friends with the staff without even knowing them. Super welcoming. Great location to our hotel. Large, good selection.
Stopped here on a trip to Breck, had some most excellent edibles. Give that Peanut Budda Buddha a try!
Awesome place to stop with some great prices. The five stars goes to Troy, he was awesome and really knows his stuff. He was quick but didn't rush and answered all my questions and made a great recommendation. Very professional and polite...
Service blew! The lady not only was not courteous or friendly and blatantly dismissive. She checked my ID twice, which makes sense when there is a segregation of duties, but this was the same person. If you don't like a job in customer service...quit. I'll continue to go to Native roots, just never in Dillon!
Amazing customer service. Brennan was especially knowledgeable of everything the store had to offer. Definitely love this store.
This specific location is terrible. I went to another location and it was a great experience. No greeting, tried to act like my id was fake. ( Just because a different state doesn't mean it's fake , just looks different than Colorado, duh. ) Suggest a different location but native roots as a whole at Frisco location was great.
Horrible customer service. Dude at the front check in was a douche bag. Only place out of 5 dispensaries that "needed two forms of ID" When I asked other shops about that, they said he was just being an asshole, as I already knew knowing the laws. They had not one other customer in shop, and turned me and my group away (4 together). You sell weed in Colorado mf. My money's good somewhere else
Nice little dispensary to stop by on after a day on the slopes. Coming from Boulder, had tons to compare from, and was happy with the results. Strain selection was good, if not a little smaller than what I'm used to, but the girl working the counter was knowledgeable and did a good job explaining the strain perks. Also did a great job of working in some edibles, although I'd say I went in wanting some, but she did a good job of showcasing a few, ending up getting those. Pretty regular toker so the stuff wasn't anything special, but wasn't looking for outer space results from down to earth prices. I'm sure if I bought their next tier up, I would have forgotten to write this review. Happy staff, great layout, good selection, good vibes.
My wife and I stopped in on vacation, Hannah who assisted us was so knowledgeable and please 'nerd out' on everyone because us from the easy coast loved hearing and learning more and more about cannabis! Flower was the best we found in Denver and the Rockies in our short time there. Great edible selection and really awesome take home bag we are collecting in our memory box. Native Roots Dillon is the go to place for anyone along I-70!
I travel to colorado often, and decided to bring a group of friends along. This was their first time at a dispensary. I have visited other Native Roots locations and had pleasant experiences every time, unfortunately this one ruined it for me. We walked in and were never greeted. Got to the first ID check, not one word was said besides a hand out to show ID. Got the counter and again, not greeted but told to show ID and "what do you want." Second group of friends came in and asked me a question, the guy at the counter yelled at us for talking and told us he would kick us out if we talked to eachother again. According to him its illegal to speak to others in line... my friend works at a dispensary and said that is definitely not the case. (I am almost certain it was because we were speaking in another language but would rather not get more angry than I already am). Even if it was, there is a way to speak to customers and explain things nicely. This was the WORST customer service I have ever experienced in my 15+ visits to CO. I, nor my friends, will ever return to this location. If you hate working with people, especially tourists, find a new job. Don't be an ass.
Horrible experience, completely rude, kept being a smart ass for no reason. Won't go back to Native Roots 850 in Dillion!
I am very pleased with the service and the quickness of the staff at native roots. I will continue to go there for my wax.
Horrible service. The guy was rude to us from the beginning and made very condescending comments because we were unsure of what to get. I was interested in about a minute and stopped inquiring about their products. He made condescending comments about us not picking and choosing things and said if this was too awkward for us we can order online and pick it up. Every single comment he was unnecessarily rude and we did nothing to deserve a ride sales pitch. I would not recommend going there as they will be rude and sneak snide comments into their sales pitch.
Very condescending staff, way better dispensaries in Colorado you could go to. One bald asshole at the front made rude comments about me after I left the store while my friend was still in there so he literally heard this guy saying stuff about me. The girls were super nice and helpful though but it sounds like the bald asshole is there a lot when looking at the other reviews so just go to a different dispensary honestly. Oh and they overcharged me, not by enough I'll go back in for to get my money back but still. Seriously save yourself the trouble lol
This location was only doing curbside orders but it seemed simple. Unfortunately I was unable to participate in the ordering process seeing that I didnt have my ID. I respected the situation and pulled back. Though my friends ended up making a purchase. They have disposal pens for just 25$. Great ediables and are known for being a good dispensary. Shout out to the gentleman at the door for being tactful. I fully understand it.
I cannot say enough about Native Roots in Dillon!! It is by FAR my favorite dispensary in Summit County! I live across country and had never experienced a dispensary before, so I was a bit nervous and skeptical about how I may be treated due to living out of state. Contrary to my worries...the staff was phenomenal, from checking in at the door all the way through the transaction and goodbye! Everyone is so professional, and they all have a strong sense of people...making you feel like a friend right away. (Working in Retail myself, I have a great appreciation for this...and it's how I train my team!)The first time I visited this location was back in April 2018, and I just so happened to be there for the week of 4/20! The deals were fantastic, I left with 1/2oz. of flower (Blue Dream-HIGHLY recommended!), a vape battery AND cartridge (regularly sold separately), small glass pipe and a pink lemonade sucker all for just a little over $100!!! (EASILY over $200 at regular prices) ...Needless to say it was a great week ;)For those who have not visited: They do allow you to use DEBIT cards, but DO NOT accept Credit Cards...good old cash is obviously the easiest way to go if you can. Their selection is, in my opinion, unmatched by any other dispensary I have visited during my travels here. They offer flower with about 15 different strains to chose from, most of which are Hybrids and do change fairly regularly. Flower is sold in quantities of 1g, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, & 1oz. In addition to some really great buds, they also have a large selection of pre-rolled joints and "Shortys" (pack of 5, 1/4g joints-I got Lemon x Tangerine and loved it!). Their extract selection is quite impressive, boasting a huge amount of various shatters, waxes, live resins, caviar and vape pen cartridges. For edibles, you're going to want to buy everything. There is SO much to chose from...too many to list really...essentially every kind of candy/treat you can imagine! Other things for sale include: sprays, tinctures, topicals (salves, balms, bath soaks, oils, lotions and transdermal patches), and more! Pretty much everything you may be looking for can be found at Native Roots. Love that it's my one stop shop every time I am out here!! The only thing I considered giving four starts for are the prices. On certain items they can be quite pricey. BUT, I just couldn't justify not giving 5 because 1. I don't mind paying a little more for high quality product and 2. The staffs' skills in client engagement in making shoppers comfortable and their knowledge of the product they sell; answering any/every question you may have and making recommendations if you request. Alone, they are the true reason I don't mind paying a bit more...the quality of product is just a plus! ;) Only other thing that can be an issue is how small their sales floor is. I have gotten lucky the few times I've been in, being either the only one in, or getting there JUST before a whole load of other customers start flooding in. Lines can back up, and because they only have I think 3 or 4 budtenders behind the counter it can take some time on a busy day...weekends I would imagine. They do a good job at getting you rung out as quickly as possible, but some customers take longer than others to make decisions. Best time to go is either first thing in the morning, or later in the night (so great they stay open until 10:00pm!) just please...for their sake, don't show up at 9:55 and then make them stay open for you. (A pet peeve of mine!) Lol!If you are traveling and looking to go to a dispensary for the first time, I highly suggest Native Roots. Make sure you have your ID ready, they will take it at the door check it, and return it to you at the counter after it is double checked. Ask your budtender questions! They're there to help make suggestions if you can't decide. Do not use your phone or take any photos/videos. Respect other people waiting in line on busy days and don't take for ever when at the counter. (Tip!...Grab a menu while waiting in line!) They have them at the counter and will let you read thru it if you ask for one. That way you can start making decisions on what you may get.Finally...their packaging is some of the BEST I have ever seen. Their iconic black and white graphics are just so fun!! And their flower bags are genius, sealing in every possible scent in an airtight, double closure zip top bag with a locking tab! And you get an awesome sticker with every purchase! Such a simple touch, but everyone loves a funky sticker!!So impressed with everything they are at Native Roots and highly recommend it! Keep on doing what you do!! I will absolutely be back. PS...when Massachusetts goes recreational this July, you guys MUST come out east!!! ;)
This was my first experience at a dispensary. They held my hand through the process and I am pleased with what I got. Lots of choices very quality product
My first experience in such a place. Two very knowledgeable young people, so helpful to two little old ladies. What a mixed crowd of people in there. I was surprised it was such a small place. It was marked on the outside by a green cross which in Europe typically means a pharmacy. That made me laugh.
This place was great! Super upbeat and friendly environment. Quick service, but also really patient and willing to spend the time helping you find what you're looking for. If you have any questions about products Jessica knew everything and beyond! Would be back soon if I wasnt just passing through!
Hell yeah.
Even though I had a Five star experience, the taxation here is insane(28%)! N that definitely factors into the experience. If your not worried about the price this location is wonderful! The atmosphere is very chill n the Budtender I worked with (Jessika k.) Was wonderfully informative.
